Haughton Honey extends crowdfunding campaign as investment passes £52k

A Cheshire-based honey company has extended its £80k crowdfunding campaign after experiencing a high number of investor inquiries.

To allow more supporters to get involved with the five-figure bid on investment site Crowdcube, Haughton Honey has pushed the deadline to midnight on May 27.

So far, over 100 investors have pledged around £52k of the £80k total.

Haughton Honey’s founder, Crispin Reeves, said: “We’ve had a flood of inquiries from potential investors seeking more details and in order to process them and allow them time to consider the investment, we’ve extended the deadline for investment by two weeks.
