New Life Science Enterprise Zone launches at Alderley Park

The Life Science Enterprise Zone at Alderley Park was officially launched on Friday, 20th May, by Councillor Don Stockton, Cheshire East Council’s portfolio holder for regeneration and Dr Chris Doherty, Site Director for Alderley Park.

The new Enterprise Zone, part of the Cheshire Science Corridor, offers 21.5 hectares comprising of 1.1 million sq ft of built floorspace with the potential to create up to 7000 jobs.

In his keynote address Councillor Stockton said: “Alderley Park is already a compelling place to locate a business, but the new Enterprise Zone provides significant new incentives to businesses operating in the biotech and life science sectors.
