Zuto drives off with £2.5M funding boost

Macclesfield-headquartered car finance specialist Zuto has secured a £2.5m working capital facility to support its growth.

Zuto, which is the brainchild of former Rochdale AFC footballer James Wilkinson (pictured) and entrepreneur Ryan Dignan, has arranged the facility with Barclays.

Founded in 2006, the business has grown rapidly and now employs more than 300 staff in Macclesfield.

Paul Ramsden, Zuto finance director, said: “We have developed a strong relationship with Barclays as we need a banking partner for the long-term, supportive of our business aims and ambitions. The team at Barclays shares our enthusiasm, understands our business and is keen to support our future growth plans as we expand both in the UK and abroad.” Read more
