All smiles as dental group expands to Chester

Dental group Shaikh and Latif has acquired a practice that operates three surgeries in Chester.

Established by dentists Arif Shaihk and Mudasser Latif, the business has added Johnson and Whitehouse Dental Surgery to its chain with the help of a £1.6m funding package from Yorkshire Bank.

The pair, who went into partnership in 2013, now have plans to expand the busy practice and create new jobs. The deal was overseen by Richard Couldwell of Yorkshire Bank.

Shaikh and Latif have been Yorkshire Bank customers since 2013 when they acquired their first dental clinic, Wilthorpe Park Dental Surgery in Barnsley. The following year the business bought Baker and Rigby Dental Surgery, which is located in Dewsbury. Read more
