Amec Foster Wheeler secures ‘pivotal’ £660m US Air Force contract

Amec Foster Wheeler, the Cheshire-headquartered engineering firm, has been awarded a multi-year contract by the United States Air Force (USAF) worth up to $950m (£660m).

The Knutsford company secured a place on the USAF’s Air Force Civil Engineer Center (AFCEC) Architect-Engineering (A-E) 2013 services contract, with the work expected to last until 2022.
