Chester’s financial offering to go under the microscope

Bank of America Merrill Lynch’s managing director in Chester will join a strong panel to discuss the city’s growing financial offering at an upcoming Insider event.
Invest in Chester will be held on 26 October 2016 at Chester’s One City Place. It will gather top businesses and stakeholders in the city to discuss key industries, growth plans and how to attract and retain top staff.
Bank of America’s Merrill Lynch’s Stephen Miller will tell attendees about the company’s growth plans as part of an expanding financial services economy in Chester, where the company employs more than 1,000 staff.
He will be joined by GBGroup’s chief people officer James Miller. The identity data intelligence company employs more than 500 people in 13 countries worldwide and Miller will discuss Chester as a base for its global operations.Insider’s breakfast will discuss the industries that are thriving within Chester and what needs to happen to make Chester a distinctive and desirable place to invest. A campaign has been launched for £1bn rail improvements in the area, which would add to Chester’s business and tourism appeal.Read more
