Engineering Company bought by the MEL Group

A Handforth-headquartered engineering company has been bought by the MEL Group, which provides services to the aerospace, defence and industrial sectors.

The newly acquired business, Didsbury Engineering, specialises in precision machining, fabrications, lifting, confined space operations and general ground support equipment for military, civil and industrial applications. It focuses on lifting high-value loads and work in confined spaces.

The MEL Group said the new collaboration would broaden its capabilities and offerings to customers.
