FIRCROFT GOES DOWN UNDER FOR LATEST DEAL
Private equity-backed technical recruitment agency Fircroft, which is headquartered in Warrington, has bought an Australian business that supplies labour hire and managed workforce services to the mining, oil and gas, and infrastructure industries.
Fircroft said that the purchase of One Key Resources would strengthen its already strong portfolio of operations. It described the newly acquired business, whose head office is located in Brisbane, as a market leader in the supply of workforce services to the mining industry in the Asia-Pacific region.
It represents the latest deal for Fircroft, which acquired global telecommunications recruiter Rygon and formed several joint ventures throughout 2015.
Private equity firm Equistone Partners Europe bought a significant stake in Fircroft in a £140m deal in 2012.
