New pubs help Brunning & Price near £50m milestone

Revenues have risen by a fifth to almost £50m at Cheshire-based Brunning & Price helped by the opening of three new pubs.

The pub group was also boosted by a major award from the Good Pub Guide for one of its sites in Chester.

According to its latest set of accounts, Brunning & Price generated a turnover of £48.4m in the year ending 28 December 2014, up by 20 per cent on a year earlier. Pre-tax profits climbed by 16 per cent to £5.4m over the same period.
