North West’s Fastest-Growing Exporters revealed
A Warrington-based medical device manufacturer and an online pharmacy in Skelmersdale are among ten North West-headquartered companies to make a countdown of the 100 small- and medium-sized British companies with the fastest-growing international sales.
The 2nd annual Sunday Times Heathrow Export Track 100 league table includes Wythenshawe-based IT security developer Avecto (36th with annual international sales growth of 82 per cent), Skelmersdale-based online pharmacy Chemist 4 U (47th with 66 per cent), Manchester-based food packaging consultancy Equator Design (52nd with 61 per cent), Manchester-based vehicle brakes wholesaler European Braking Systems (57th with 57 per cent), and Manchester-based car dealership consultancy A&E Global (78th with 42 per cent).
Also making the cut are Sandbach-based payroll services provider Safeguard World International (81st with 41 per cent), Blackpool-based toymaker Casdon (86th with 40 per cent), Farmworth-based pushchair manufacturer Cosatto (91st with 36 per cent), Stockport-based laser technology developer Laser Quantum (97th with 34 per cent), and Warrington-based medical device manufacturer Micro Systems (100th with 33 per cent).
