Warrington’s Golden Square celebrates busy half-year of tenant acquisition

Golden Square shopping centre in Warrington enjoyed a busy first half of 2016 after signing up 12 new tenants.

Recent additions to the complex, which comprises more than 800,000 sq ft of retail and leisure space, include Australian stationery company Smiggle, entertainment retailer HMV, restaurant chain Prezzo and fashion firm Select.

H1 2016 also saw jewellery brand Pandora double the size of its Golden Square unit to 1,163 sq ft, while camping specialist Millets moved into a larger, 1,983 sq ft store.

Looking ahead, Golden Square bosses confirmed that a further 17 deals are currently in the works. Read more
