Delegation to showcase Life Sciences Sector

A delegation from the North of England is heading to the world’s largest biotech conference in San Francisco this week to promote the region as an attractive centre for international businesses to set up operations here for research, development and manufacturing.

The BIO International Convention (BIO) starts today (6 June 2016) and attracts more than 15,000 biotechnology and pharma leaders. It covers a wide spectrum of life science and application areas including drug discovery, bio-manufacturing, genomics, biofuels, nanotechnology and cell therapy.

The northern line-up is led by Alderley Park (pictured), one of the five major assets within Manchester Science Partnerships, and features Redx Pharma, The Northern Health Science Alliance and research specialist Aptus Clinical.Read More
